What a wonderful and peaceful place to stay. Harriet and Martin were lovely and very easy to talk to. They were helpful and were always available to give advice about the area. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. I highly recommend if you are going to be in the area.

Lovely relaxing countryside setting
We visited the Old Rectory with our dogs. The property had everything we required. Martin and his family made us very welcome. The cottage was within the grounds of and old rectory and other cottages. Each was close enough to feel that we weren’t on our own but far enough apart to have your own privacy. Excellent overall.

Wonderful hosts, Martin and Harriet made us feel at home from the beginning, and went out of their way to make the stay comfortable and homely. It’s a beautiful place, surrounded by wonderful gardens. A place you can relax and unwind while the kids explore and play with the animals….especially their friendly dog Axel. And their breakfast is delicious also, with fresh eggs from their very own hens!!!!

An absolute gem! Dedication and hard work is shown in every aspect of the accommodation and grounds that surround it.
The owners are a delight, their dog Axel is exceptional at his meet and greet with a smile and a wagg service.

Spent the bank holiday weekend there, perfect for a chilled getaway with the family. The owners are such nice people and the breakfast is delicious everything homemade and so fresh.
Our little one year old loved the pigs and chickens. Would highly recommend it.
